I made these photographs in the small town where I grew up. I was drawn to the corners, objects, and traces of everyday life that usually escape attention — not as a record of nostalgia, but as a way of looking at what remains around us.
I think about the things that are left behind as a city changes: places, objects, and sometimes people. They remain quietly at the edge of things, carrying traces of use, time, and absence. The camera stays with them for a moment.
